EVO MFG 2.5" JLU High Clearance Long Arm Suspension System ( 4 Door Only )The EVO MFG 2.5” JLU High Clearance Long Arm kit will like your JLU2.5”s. Through specifically designed bracketry we accomplish theultimate in suspension and chassis clearance, larger wheel travelability, optimal suspension geometry with increased ride quality. Clearance, ride quality, performance and ease of installation wasour focus in creating this long arm suspension system. The front armsmount tucked up inside nearly flush with the bottom of the framemounting inches above the stock front lower mounting bracket. The rearmounting locations for the long arm are on the side of the frame, abovethe bottom giving inches of clearance over the factory locations aswell. Keeping optimal geometry while maintaining as much clearancewas critical in the design of this system. In doing so, not only didwe raise the rear control above the frame but we raised its mounting atthe rear axle by multiple inches as well. This allows for anincredible ground clearance increase but just as importantly retainingflat and optimal control arm angles giving ideal ground clearance,smooth ride quality and long travel ability. The mounting brackets arespecifically designed to require no exhaust cutting on 3.6L JeepWrangler JLU’s (minor grind/clearance to flange required) and have fulllength hard-face mounting surfaces that weld to your frame givingredundant and ample welding area and strength to their mounting. Themounting brackets align to the frame simply using existing factory holesgiving complete assurance of proper locating during install. Simplybolt brackets up to frame with existing hardware and weld them in place.These kits come with a set of 2.5” Plush Ride Lift springs specific toeach corner which will keep the Jeep Wrangler JLU more level side toside and will maintain a unique and compliant ride quality. EVO MFG LongArm joints feature Johnny Joints on both ends of the control arms forrestriction free articulation and motion with no wearable and limitedbond rubber. All long arms come complete with EVO1 on vehicle adjustermaking alignment a snap allowing for the ability to adjust control armlengths while completely installed on the vehicle at all times. All EVOMFG lower long arms are built with strength in mind. These arms aremade from industry leading 2.0” x .281” wall Steel DOM Tubing. Includein these kits is front brakeline extension brackets, Rear swaybarendlinks and front and bumpstop extensions. Cutting, grinding andwelding of frame brackets required. The EVO MFG 2.5” High ClearanceLong Arm kits require no driveshaft or exhaust modifications (your shockchoice may require this, contact manufacturer to be sure). Option ofretaining factory shocks, maintaining wheel travel with use of shockextensions (part number EXT kits) or without shock extensions to allowfor use of your choice of aftermarket 2/2.5” lift shocks. EVO3015K kitscome with EVO SPEC King 2.5” Remote Reservoir shocks all 4 corners. EVOMFG JL 2.5” High Clearance Long Arm Kits will fit up to a 37” tires onRubicon Model JLUs or 35” tires on Sahara and Sport/S (Larger tiresclearance with aftermarket fenders or trimmed factory fenders). 2.5”lift is based on increase of a 4 Door Rubicon. 4 Door Sport and SaharaModels will see slightly higher increases over stock and will matchoverall lift height of a Rubicon Model.
Note: Depending on actual tire variances and sizes, Some minorfactory inner liner plastic may need to trimmed/removed to fully clearsome tires under compression. These kits require wheel spacers oraftermarket wheels with smaller backspacing.
