Constructed using thick high grade CNC laser cut and formed aluminum, this Fold Down Aluminum Tailgate kit for Jeep CJ, YJ, TJ and LJ will replace the swinging factory tailgate, giving you to a slick, strong fold down replacement.
Included with the kit are lockable compression latches with keys, quality hinges, automotive grade tailgate cables and all of the fasteners to make the installation quick and easy. Our detailed step-by-step installation instructions will guide you through the entire installation process from start to finish.
This kit will work with or without corner armor. We also include cover plates for the factory hinge holes for a complete and finished look. All parts are shipped bare metal. Aluminum parts may require some finish work so that you can paint to match or leave it as-is.
