The skid plate is laser cut from high strength 3/16 inch steel plate. The bottom of the skid plate features a dimple to accommodate the fuel pump section of the factory tank. The skid plate bolts back into the factory location utilizing the factory straps and hardware.
This skid plate fits Jeep TJ models 1997 - 2006 and the Jeep LJ Unlimited 2004-2006. The skid plate does not require a body lift to install. The skid plate ships in raw steel and will need paint before installing. We often rattle can skids plates because they will be sliding across rocks and other obstacles scratching them.
