I had the privilege of getting my hands on one of the first sets of SLIMLITE LED’s before they hit the market to do some product review and testing. We set my 2016 JKU up with two sets of SLIMLITE LED’s one set on the A-Pillar and one on the front bumper. 

My first impression of the SLIMLITE LED was WOW, what a transformation it made to the front end look of my Jeep and I hadn’t even turned them on yet! Wiring them up was a breeze with the included wiring harness. We set them up to run off of my sPOD but the wiring harness comes with a switch as well and can bet set up to run straight off the battery with the included switch. 

Soon after installation it was off to the trails to get some night wheeling in and see how much light the SLIMLITE’s would really put out. We loved the look on the Jeep especially with the included Rock Guard covers but now it was time to see for ourselves what these SLIMLITE’s were all about.  Per KC’s spec’s the SLIMITE Led’s provide 7,260 Raw Lumens per light at 12V and Candela at 250,000. The SLIMLITE LED was amazing in the dark of night utilizing its 10 high powered Cree XD-16 LEDs ® (per light) to provide exceptional ouput. We where able to see everything on the trail and made for some really great night wheeling.
