This Falcon Series 2 Monotube Shock was designed for delivery of the best handling and performance requirements of Jeep's Wrangler series. Presented in an affordable, compact package, the 6061 aluminum hard anodized body helps protect all the internal components from any damage. This body also provides the best heat dissipation for a consistent, even performance. The single tube design brings in an oil/gas separator, preventing cavitation during the rapid shock cycling. The Falcon shocks include Red Line Oil full synthetic for superior performance, ranging across every temperature, reducing the shock fade. This proprietary synthetic formula contains specific anti-wear and lubricity agents, producing higher than average thermal stability. The features and benefits include JK specific shock, an increase in vehicle stability, and improved dynamic roll control. The benefits also include improved low speed damping, optimized fitment providing the best clearance during all full suspension travel, and articulation. The front offset stud design helps create an additional frame clearance, while the 2.25" shock body helps create optimal performance. This is the largest stock body that fits the Wrangler with no modification required. The 6061 aluminum casing helps provide for a smooth honed interal shock body surface, providing long-term performance. The 3/4" shaft helps prevent buckling, while the maximum shaft diameter provides for optimal performance range. The hard chrome, induction hardened shaft gives the driver the best resistance to rock damage and corrosion. The OGS prevents cavitation, with the digressive linear piston and base valve technology. It includes a one-piece Teflon bronze piston wear band with o-ring, as well as a hard anodozed billet piston. The 1,000 hour salt spray corrosion resistance creates a longer lasting product.
