The size, shape and especially the location of the tank will hinder these modifications and will require replacing this reservoir in order to move forward.
Often times, such a replacement will result in buying a smaller plastic reservoir for your Jeep JL/JLU, which in itself can cause aggravation from frequently having to refill the smaller tank.
